ALL PRO DOOR & TRIM

Brothers Terry and Rusty Claunch opened All Pro Door & Trim Plus Storage in 1991 after first working for another company building doors and trim.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, they learned and perfected the trade for 10 years before beginning their own company. However, the successful business suffered a great loss in April 2020 with the passing of co-founder Terry Claunch, 64. But Rusty Claunch, 62, is intent on honoring his brother by carrying on their tradition of great products, superior customer service and charity work.
Rusty Claunch said, “(Terry) and I first started the business in July of 1991. We worked hard. We started out renting and now we’ve moved up to owning. Moved into the storage business also. He and I ran it all those years.
“I have ‘buy local’ all over all of our vehicles and signs,” Mr. Claunch said. “We are a local company and part of the community. Our reputation is excellent. Word of mouth is how we get most of our business.”
He added, just as the Virginia Slims commercial used to say, “You’ve Come a Long Way Baby” to describe his company.
Generally All Pro Door & Trim Plus Storage builds, installs and maintains customized doors, door accessories, and trim of all shapes, sizes and colors.
No job is too big or too small. Offerings include the most economical exterior and interior doors to the most elaborate. Onsite keying is available for locks. The showroom includes a warehouse with custom requests created onsite. There is no sending out, or waiting extra days for custom orders. The business serves as a one stop door and trim manufacturer, without needing a “middle man.”
As to the storage component, secure mini storage is available, especially designed for customers needing storage space for their belongings while their homes are being renovated. Units can be rented in 10-foot by 10-foot spaces or 10-foot by 20-foot.
The company has been a long-time contributor to many charities, especially Habitat for Humanity. Rusty Claunch stated they regularly donate door prizes and make contributions to other charities as well. Although based in Daytona Beach, work is performed throughout Central Florida. The showroom is part of a 10,000- square-foot building, growing considerable from the 800-square-foot building when they started. The storage units are securely located in the back of the property.
Cut down doors to fit odd openings are a specialty. Featured products include residential doors, commercial doors, Kwikset Locks, Schlage, ODL Inserts, LJ Smith Stairways, Coffman Stairways, HBG Columns, Therma Tru Doors and Plastpro Doors. Other customer benefits include free delivery from the full-service door shop, excellent customer service by knowledgeable sales staff, more than 34 exterior doors on display in the showroom, custom decorative glass installed on existing doors, and free jobsite sales estimates.
